Earlier this month, my two daughters, husband, and I embarked on our annual summer vacation.

Our over-stuffed suitcases always get the first laugh of the trip – I can pinpoint the exact moment before we are even out the door when my husband asks, “Just how many shoes and pairs of sneakers did you pack?”

No matter where we are, near or far, this is time reserved for just us four to be together – shed our everyday roles of CEO, lawyer, high school student, and revel in pure fun. Our biggest decision is which pool chair, what's for dinner, and what to wear!
