9:05AM: Check the Twittersphere and monitor my clients’ social media channels for questions, fan love or influencer shout-outs. I also take a look at what’s hot and trending that day and how we can engage with some of the coolest tastemakers
10:30AM: Scan the web for awesome articles like this one to share with my fellow Zenoids
12:00PM: Lunch/mini-brainstorm at Shake Shack with some of my PR agency colleagues. Today’s a special day- This is Drew’s first time at Shake Shack. Unbelievable. Topics covered: The deliciousness of a Shake Shack burger, Tumblr ideas for a new client and deciphering the meaning of life one French fry at a time.
2:00PM: Lead a new travel business media relations brainstorm with the NYC office. Desserts are served today. (Where’s my passport and when can I take a vacation, again??)
3:30PM: Hop on the phone with one of my clients to discuss ideas for SXSW
4:00PM: Discuss ideas with other Culture Club members for the upcoming Zeno Day of Play. Every year we take off the first day of spring as an agency to refresh and renew our thinking for our clients. This is one of our favorite days of the year and one of the things that makes Zeno one of the best places to work, in my opinion.
4:30PM: Head to one my clients’ headquarters in NYC to present a 2013 recap report. Guess what- #WeNailedIt.
5:30PM: ¡Hola! It’s time to put together a plan for a Hispanic activation for one of our clients. I feel like a kid in a candy store. On Christmas morning. Eating an ice cream.
6:30PM: Celebrate yet another awesome week with happy hour at the Ace Hotel with other fellow Zenoids (Karaoke MIGHT happen later).
5 Things you should know about Josué
Fearless Moment: Outside of my time at Zeno, I’d say making the decision to move to NYC on my own- packing my things and driving them myself to the city. That was a pretty proud moment for me and another example that everything’s achievable as long as you set your mind to it.
Most Memorable Zeno Moment: Kennedy, Nick Mendoza and the gang turning the NYC office into Josué Land and "Daft Punking" me for my 30th birthday.
If not a Zenoid, I’d be a… Probably a teacher… or the lead singer of an indie electro band.
