Zeno Brings Together the Best New Tech at Promenade
Growing up in the heart of Silicon Valley, I’ve always been amazed by the sheer volume of technology companies that are concentrated right here in my backyard. You can hardly make it an exit down 101 without seeing a logo for one of the world’s top tech brands splashed across a building!
There is something really inspiring about living in such a hotbed of innovation, and recently the Bay’s entrepreneurial spirit moved our team at Zeno Silicon Valley to build an invention of our own: Zeno Promenade. Early this year, we set out with a vision of an all-new event: a premiere Silicon Valley showcase that would together some of the biggest tech influencers and the most disruptive consumer technology. After months of research, planning and a lot of teamwork, on September 19, we launched the first ever Zeno Promenade!
The event featured cutting-edge tech trends from startups and established companies from the Bay Area and beyond. Joined by some of Silicon Valley’s most influential media, we were able to demo some extremely cool new gadgets and services from brands like ooVoo, McAfee, Wargaming, Zendure, Monster Products, Exo Labs, Livescribe, VeriFone, Transporter and Eye-Fi.
Based on what we saw at Promenade, it’s clear that two major trends are continuing to dominate the tech market:
- Mastering Mobile: The mobile market has exploded over the past decade, and the brightest minds in the tech industry are coming up with new ways to optimize today’s mobile experience. At Promenade, we had a chance to see amazing innovations in video chat and brand new security apps to keep your devices safe using biometrics.
- Think Outside the Tab: Gone are the days when tablets were just seen as convenient ways to surf the net or game on the go. As we saw at Promenade, creative companies are using tablets to power everything from microscopes to mobile cash registers for holiday shopping.
It was so exciting being part of the team that helped build Zeno Promenade from the ground up. We’re very proud of our creation and we’re keeping our eyes on the horizon to see where this new technology will take us!
