Zeno Group Named Agency of Record for Lung Cancer Research Foundation
NEW YORK, NY (May 23, 2011) – Following a competitive agency review, Zeno Group has been named agency of record for the Lung Cancer Research Foundation. Founded six years ago, LCRF is a lung cancer organization solely committed to advancing the pace of research to help find solutions for those whose lives have been affected by this life-threatening disease.
Work for LCRF will be led out of Zeno's NY office with a multi-disciplinary health, consumer and social media team. Effective immediately, the team will undertake myriad activities including: strategic and executional support for the LCRF's annual scientific symposium, strengthen the organization's social media presence and bring new ways of thinking and talking about lung cancer to the community-at-large.
"We are inspired by the work of the LCRF and are privileged to partner with them to overturn myths and misperceptions about lung cancer while raising awareness of the important scientific research underway supported by the LCRF," said Ame Wadler, Managing Director, Zeno Health. "We hope our partnership with LCRF will give the people living with the disease and the scientists fighting for a cure a new sense of community and purpose."
"LCRF is excited to partner with Zeno. We know that the breadth of their experience and their strategic approach, will help us to foster new relationships and forge ahead with new initiatives to benefit people living with lung cancer," said Laurie Carson, Executive Director, Lung Cancer Research Foundation.
